Thank you very much for showing an interest in our GCSE audio lessons.  We're really confident we can help your child revise for their GCSEs.  We have a huge bank of GCSE audio lessons for children in Year 10 and Year 11 covering many GCSE subjects.  

Our GCSE audio lesson membership is just £6 per month, which gives you access to all subjects, topics and lessons, which are all available via our app, which is really easy to use.

If you do decide to sign up, which we really hope you do, please let us know all your child's GCSE subjects, examining boards, English texts and History periods if relevant and we'll do our best to cover everything they need.

Why have we started creating GCSE audio lessons?

I have always wanted to create audio lessons for our son, Bass.  Bass is dyslexic and really doesn't like reading.  He's never read for pleasure and finds the whole process really difficult and painful at times - I honestly think he would much prefer to take his eyeballs out than read!  He's in Year 9 now and has already started learning parts of the GCSE syllabus in some of his subjects such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

But he absolutely LOVES listening to audiobooks and podcasts.  Bass reads with his ears.  Ok he struggles to read chapter and text books but if that chapter or text book were on an audio CD he would devour it.  Like many SEN children, Bass has so much potential if only there was a way to unlock the curriculum for him or for children like him.

Bass absorbs information through his ears.  With this in mind we've started creating GCSE audio lessons because I know they would be utterly brilliant for him to access the curriculum and help him revise.  What if the whole curriculum was in audio form?  How fantastic would that be for Bass?  And for children like Bass?

What are some of the benefits?

🗣️  Our audio lessons will use the strength of your child's auditory processing.  Some children like Bass, who have dyslexia, have phenomenal auditory processing.  Providing them with audio lessons will help them better understand and retain information when presented with it aurally rather than in written form.

🗣️  Reduced reading strain.  Dyslexic children find the process of reading really difficult.  Our audio lessons will allow your child to access information without the strain and frustration associated with reading difficulties.

🗣️  Reduces anxiety.  This is an important one for me.  Bass experiences anxiety when he reads - it physically stresses him out.  Our audio lessons helps alleviate this anxiety by providing an alternative, non-threatening way to access and review information.

🗣️  Increases comprehension.  Listening to information can enhance comprehension for dyslexic learners.  Our audio lessons will allow your child to focus on understanding the content rather than struggling decoding written words.

🗣️  Better memory recall. Our audio lessons will help your child better recall key concepts and information.

🗣️  Improved results.  Bass has been using our audio lessons for a little over six months now and we have seen him achieve better results across all subjects, for example, in recent end of year exams he achieved an A* in his English exam and 84% in his Biology exam.  He has had better end of unit marks too, better vocabulary test marks and we have also noticed an overall improvement in his confidence and emotional wellbeing.
